Egypt and Bulgaria Explore Expansion of Industrial Cooperation and Technology Transfer

Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gomblat and Bulgarian Ambassador in Cairo Deyan Katratchev engaged in discussions on Saturday aimed at deepening bilateral industrial cooperation and expanding technology transfer in the New Capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Gomblat emphasized the ministry's commitment to implementing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to localize advanced manufacturing technologies. He highlighted the importance of forming strategic partnerships with the private sector, attracting investments, and strengthening Egypt's industrial capabilities to meet international quality standards.

The minister also detailed the production, technological, and technical capabilities of the ministry's affiliated companies, underscoring the significance of developing human resources and adopting advanced manufacturing systems to support sustainable industrial growth.

Additionally, both parties assessed the progress in cooperation between Egyptian military production companies and Bulgarian firms, while exploring opportunities to broaden partnerships across various manufacturing sectors. Katratchev commended Egypt's industrial capabilities and reiterated Bulgaria's commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation as the two nations celebrate 100 years of diplomatic relations.
