Cairo: The Ministry of Industry has announced the successful allocation of 100 industrial land plots across 16 governorates, marking the conclusion of the 12th exceptional offering of fully serviced industrial land. This initiative follows the closure of applications on November 6, with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) receiving 209 investment applications through the Digital Egypt Industrial Platform.According to State Information Service Egypt, the total area of the allocated land is 185,000 square meters, designated for new industrial projects. The projects encompass a variety of sectors, including food, engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, and building materials.Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Kamel el Wazir, stated that this exceptional offering was launched to commemorate the anniversary of the October Victory. It is a part of the ministry's comprehensive industrial policy aimed at ensuring a sustainable supply of serviced industrial land for committed investors. The initiative is also intended to enhance the investment climate, support the state's objectives to develop the industrial sector, localize production chains, and position Egypt as a regional industrial hub.
