E-JUST Enhances Global Education and Research Collaboration

Kyoto:President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Dr. Ahmed El-Sabbagh, took part in the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS Forum 2026) in Japan.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Dr. El-Sabbagh emphasized the significance of the forum as a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge with global university leaders and scientific institutions. The event also served as an opportunity to delve into the latest science and technology trends and their societal impacts.

He highlighted E-JUST's commitment to international collaboration in education, research, and innovation, underscoring the importance of global partnerships in tackling challenges and promoting sustainable development.

During the forum, Dr. El-Sabbagh participated in a plenary session focused on "Major Transformations in Science, Technology and Society," which addressed new scientific and technological trends and their effects on society and academia. Additionally, he joined a meeting with university presidents discussing the role of higher education in confronting global issues and bolstering cooperation with industry, governments, and civil society.

E-JUST's involvement in the forum underscored its initiatives to expand international academic and research networks and foster partnerships that bridge research with practical applications.
