Cairo: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Nabil Habashi renewed his call on members of Egyptian communities around the world to head to the polling stations at their nearest diplomatic mission to participate in the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, continuing their notable national role in supporting the state's progress.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Habashi stated that the state is deeply committed to facilitating all procedures enabling its citizens residing across the world to take part in all constitutional entitlements, considering them an integral part of the national fabric, whose voice is no less important than that of citizens inside the country.
He stressed the importance of preserving these constitutional gains and encouraging Egyptians abroad to participate in this important parliamentary election in order to elect representatives who will speak on their behalf under the parliament's dome, as well as to contribute to supporting the country's democratic process.
Habashi highlighted the high level of responsibility and political awareness demonstrated by Egyptians abroad during the first phase of the House of Representatives elections, noting that their participation sent a message of love and belonging to their homeland and a determination to contribute effectively to building the New Republic.
