Montreal: Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El Hefny met with Mohamed Rahma, the Director of the Air Transport Bureau at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Rahma is a notable Egyptian figure in the global civil aviation sector. According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the closing session of the 42nd Session of the ICAO General Assembly, held in Montreal, Canada. The Minister praised the important role played by Rahma in leading the Air Transport Bureau at ICAO. He affirmed that Rahma's professional journey and his progression through many leadership positions within the civil aviation sector, culminating in his current international post, reflect his competence and experience in the air transport industry. El Hefny added that Rahma's efforts contribute to developing the air transport system and enhancing the organization's position on the international stage, making him a model for joint international work. For his part, Rahma expressed his a ppreciation for El Hefny, commending the minister's efforts and support for the organization's programs and initiatives. Rahma emphasized that the minister's efforts to fulfill international commitments and his follow-up on international civil aviation files reflect a vision and will to support the development of this sector and enhance ICAO's role in serving the air transport industry at both the regional and international levels.
