Cairo: The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) has reported a significant 42.8% increase in the number of trademarks granted in the year 2024, totaling 23,790 trademarks.According to State Information Service Egypt, CAPMAS announced that Egypt secured 19,099 trademarks. This information was shared in a press statement coinciding with World Intellectual Property Day.The statement further revealed that the total number of trademark requests submitted in 2024 reached 42,538. Out of these, applications submitted by Egyptians to the Egyptian trademark office amounted to 33,703.
