Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a Cabinet meeting at the New Capital to address pivotal national issues, including political, economic, and social files, as well as the implementation of presidential directives. The meeting, a part of the government's weekly agenda, aimed to assess and strategize responses to current challenges facing Egypt.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting was especially focused on socio-economic measures designed to shield the Egyptian economy from the adverse effects of regional military developments, particularly those involving US and Israeli operations in Iran. The Cabinet's discussions underscored the importance of securing strategic commodity stocks for the coming months, controlling inflation, and boosting investments in health, education, and social protection.

The Cabinet also delved into market regulation, industrial localization, and export growth as part of the Egypt Vision 2030 initiative. The meeting highlighted the necessity of strengthening social safety nets for the most vulnerable segments of the population. Furthermore, ministers reviewed ongoing investment initiatives, tax reforms, and agricultural expansion projects, all of which are geared towards enhancing state services and supporting low-income groups.
