Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, focusing on a range of political, economic, and social issues on the government's agenda. The meeting took place at the New Administrative Capital, where Madbouli and his Cabinet members discussed various strategies for implementing presidential directives effectively and within set timeframes.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Cabinet's agenda included several critical topics, such as the president's instructions to fulfill citizens' needs, efforts to curb inflation, and maintaining increased spending on health, education, and social protection sectors. They also evaluated ways to regulate markets, ensure the availability of food commodities, and continue work on national projects throughout the country's governorates.

The Cabinet also explored measures to enhance social protection, support vulnerable citizens, and reviewed development issues in education, healthcare, comprehensive development, investment, exports, and industry localization as part of Egypt's Vision 2030.
