Cabinet Addresses Key National Issues in Weekly Meeting

Cairo: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli chaired the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the New Administrative Capital to discuss a number of political, economic, and social files on the government's agenda. The meeting also reviewed ways to implement the presidential directives assigned to the government in the most effective manner and within appropriate timeframes.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Cabinet is set to address several topics, including the premier's attendance of a ceremony marking the 123rd anniversary of launching the ambulance service in Egypt, in addition to inspecting projects in Sheikh Zayed and New October cities. The talks also tackle the president's instructions to the government to meet citizens' needs, continue and intensify efforts to curb inflation, and maintain increased spending on the health, education, and social protection sectors.

The agenda also includes monitoring market regulation, ensuring the availability of food commodities, and continuing work on various national projects across the country's governorates. Additionally, the Cabinet will discuss measures to enhance social protection, support the most vulnerable citizens, and review issues related to the development of education, healthcare, comprehensive development, investment, increasing exports, and localizing industries as part of Egypt's Vision 2030.
