Cairo: The King of Bahrain and the Egyptian President engaged in discussions to enhance bilateral relations and address regional developments. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain met with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, who extended a warm welcome to the King, underscoring the depth of bilateral ties in various fields.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the King expressed his gratitude to President El-Sisi for the hospitality shown to him and his delegation and acknowledged the President's efforts in strengthening Bahraini-Egyptian relations. He extended his best wishes for Egypt's progress and prosperity.
The discussions focused on the strong fraternal ties and historical relations between Bahrain and Egypt. Both leaders emphasized their commitment to strategic cooperation and coordination to serve mutual interests. President El-Sisi thanked the King for Bahrain's supportive stances towards Egypt, reaffirming Egypt's condemnation of Iranian attacks on Bahrain and its support for Bahrain's security measures. Both leaders committed to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation for sustainable growth and prosperity.
