Cairo: Minister of Awqaf Dr. Osama Al Azhari affirmed the ministry's readiness to explore forms of constructive cooperation with the Arab Investors Union (AIU) that serve the nation and support development efforts, including in the areas of training, qualification, and capacity building. He highlighted the formation of a joint working team to explore cooperation opportunities and the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding to facilitate future collaboration.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this initiative was discussed during Al-Azhari's meeting with Dr. Hoda Yassa, President of the Arab Investors Union and a member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, along with her delegation at the ministry's headquarters in the New Capital. The meeting focused on prospects for joint collaboration between the ministry and the union in various fields that benefit society and its most vulnerable groups.

Dr. Yassa reviewed the union's activities, initiatives, and projects, highlighting that more than 450 projects have been implemented across several governorates. These projects focus on supporting women and youth, assisting female breadwinners, providing training for employment, supporting persons with disabilities, and developing traditional crafts.

Additionally, Yassa extended an official invitation to the Awqaf Minister to participate in the 29th Arab-African Investment Summit and International Cooperation, which the union is set to organize next October.
