Cairo: The Armed Forces organized its annual celebration on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to mark the El-Mawlid El-Nabawi, commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad for the Hijri year 1447. The event was attended by Armed Forces commanders, scholars from Al-Azhar, and representatives from the Ministry of Awqaf.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Assistant Minister of Defense Ayman Abbas Ahmed delivered a speech on behalf of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Mageed Saqr. In his address, he emphasized the commitment of the Armed Forces to defend the homeland and protect its sacred values, inspired by the Prophet's example of sacrifice, devotion, and faithfulness.
The celebration concluded with the recognition of winners in the annual Quran and Prophet's biography competition. This competition, organized by the Armed Forces, aims to foster religious awareness among its personnel and uphold moral and spiritual values.
