Ambassador Alaa Youssef: Training State Information Service Personnel on Artificial Intelligence Applications Enhances Performance Efficiency

Cairo: The State Information Service (SIS) has successfully concluded a specialized training program focused on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) applications within the media sector. This initiative was designed to enhance the capabilities of SIS leaders and staff, equipping them with essential skills to effectively utilize AI tools and technologies to improve institutional performance.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the training was conducted by Ashraf Mofeed, a renowned expert in AI applications, and aimed to align with the Egyptian government's ongoing efforts toward digital transformation. The program emphasized practical applications of AI, enabling trainees to directly apply these technologies in their daily operations.

Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the Board of SIS, noted that the program met its goals by providing participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to use AI applications professionally and responsibly. This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the SIS to enhance its operational systems and improve the quality of its media outputs.

Ambassador Youssef highlighted the importance of continuously developing human resources to keep pace with rapid technological advancements. He emphasized that national institutions must invest in training to fully harness AI technologies across different fields. The SIS's training modules covered key areas such as prompt engineering, report writing, content creation, data analysis, and presentation preparation using AI tools.

He further stated that the SIS will continue to offer specialized training programs in modern technological fields, consistent with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's vision of creating an efficient administrative apparatus capable of utilizing advanced technology to achieve development goals.

The program was well-received by participants, who appreciated the scientific and practical content, as well as the opportunity for hands-on training with the latest AI applications. This experience has enhanced their ability to employ these tools effectively in their professional tasks, leading to increased performance efficiency and improved decision-making.
