Cairo: The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has announced the issuance of approximately 1,165 operating licenses for livestock, feed, and poultry activities, as well as milk collection centers, during December 2025. These licenses include both renewals and first-time licenses aimed at boosting the agricultural sector's productivity and efficiency.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the head of the Livestock and Poultry Development Sector emphasized that this initiative aligns with the directives of Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Engineer Mustafa Al-Sayyad. The focus has been on removing obstacles while ensuring adherence to controls and standards, as part of the state's efforts to simplify the licensing process for these activities.
The Ministry has also highlighted its commitment to facilitating the registration of feed mixtures according to standard controls and criteria. Additionally, the Ministry is providing support to achieve optimal performance rates and is actively working to encourage and increase exports in the agricultural sector.
