Beni suef: Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk began a visit to Beni Suef Governorate on Sunday, September 20, 2026, to inspect a number of activities and events held as part of the 'Productive Village' initiative.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the 'Productive Village' initiative aims to transform villages into integrated production units that rely on local resources by supporting agricultural activities, handicrafts, and vocational training. The initiative seeks to maximize the use of available village resources and expand production and employment opportunities.
