Cairo: Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouq has emphasized the importance of following President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to enhance collaboration between Egypt and African countries, particularly in agriculture, to improve food security prospects.According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister's remarks were made during a meeting with Dr. Sherif El Gabali, Head of the African Affairs Committee at the House of Representatives. The meeting focused on exploring agricultural investment opportunities with African nations.Minister Farouq noted that numerous African countries have the potential for success in agricultural sectors, providing opportunities to expand the cultivation of strategic crops.Participants in the meeting agreed to invite businessmen and investors to form partnerships involving the government, private sector, and national banks to enhance investment opportunities with African countries.
