According to State Information Service Egypt, Qersh made these statements during televised remarks on Saturday 12/7/2025, noting the significant development in Egypt's agricultural export sector over recent years. This growth is attributed to strategic decisions aimed at boosting productivity, which include expanding cultivated areas and maximizing yield per acre through the adoption of modern farming techniques.

Qersh further explained that Egypt's agricultural exports, which previously stood at around 4 million tons, have risen to 5.8 million tons by mid-year. This increase in export volumes is expected to positively impact the agricultural sector's contribution to Egypt's overall economy, providing a substantial boost to national economic growth.
