Cairo: Media Coordinator for Egypt's national football team Mohamed Morad said on Saturday, July 04, 2026, that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's support for the national team provides a strong boost to achieving further success in the upcoming matches.

According to State Information Service Egypt, President Sisi congratulated Egypt's national football team on its historic achievement of qualifying for the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup for the first time in the team's history.

Speaking in televised remarks, Morad said that the President's congratulations for the team's qualification for the Round of 16 are a source of pride for all the players.
