Gaza: The 278th convoy of humanitarian aid trucks, 'Zad Al-Ezza', from Egypt to Gaza began entering the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, through the secondary gate of the Rafah Border Crossing, heading toward the Karam Abu Salem crossing, in preparation for delivering the aid into the Strip.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the convoy's trucks are carrying large quantities of food and relief supplies, including foodstuffs and food baskets, flour, meat, medical supplies, and fuel.
The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a presence along the border since the beginning of the crisis. The Rafah crossing was never fully closed from the Egyptian side, while the organization continued to remain on alert at all logistics centers and pursue ongoing efforts to deliver humanitarian and relief aid, supported by more than 75,000 volunteers across the organization.
