Venezuela’s FM Updates Egypt on Recent Developments

Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received a phone call from Foreign Minister of Venezuela Yv¡n Gil Pinto. The talks focused on bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to consulting on regional and international issues of common concern.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during the call, Abdelatty expressed aspiration to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields and to continue consultations on regional and international issues, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries. He emphasized the importance of enhancing economic relations and increasing trade exchange rates, highlighting the potential benefits for Venezuela from Egyptian exports.

Gil, on his part, briefed Abdelatty on the latest developments in Venezuela and praised Egypt's role in supporting regional peace and security. He acknowledged Egypt's efforts in addressing regional crises through peaceful and diplomatic solutions and confirmed Venezuela's intention to maintain coordination and consultation with Egypt in the future.
