Cairo: The Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning has claimed first place in the "Best Eco-Friendly Faculty" competition organized by Cairo University.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the initiative was launched under the guidance of Cairo University President Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek. This effort is part of the university's commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental conservation. The Faculty of Engineering achieved second place, followed by the Faculty of Mass Communication in third, and the Faculty of Economics and Political Science in fourth.
Sadek emphasized the university's strong support for its faculties and institutes in adopting sustainable environmental practices. This initiative aims to position Cairo University as a leading example of an eco-friendly academic institution.
