El Arish: Carrying aid for Gaza, the Turkish "Good Ship" unloads its cargo at the port of El Arish. The seventeenth ship of the Turkish Good Ships completed unloading its cargo at the Egyptian port of Arish on Sunday, after arriving at the port on Friday carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Anadolu Agency's correspondent reported that the ship, named "Ak Deniz," departed last Tuesday from the port of Mersin in southern Trkiye, carrying 900 tons of humanitarian aid. He explained that the ship was prepared with the support of 17 civil society organizations, coordinated by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), and completed unloading its cargo within two days.
Following the ceasefire, the 17th "Good Ship" represents a new phase in efforts to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has suffered from a two-year Israeli genocide, along with a stifling blockade.
