Cairo: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathi stated that the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a landmark achievement in the global museum landscape. Speaking to Nile Radio, the minister highlighted that the museum is the world's largest dedicated to a single civilization.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister emphasized the museum's distinctive architectural design and innovative display methods, which showcase the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization in an unprecedented manner. Fathi pointed out that the museum's influence goes beyond exhibitions.
