Cairo: Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi on Friday 5/12/2025 saw off the first "Youth Train" convoy comprising 500 young men and women, as it headed to Luxor and Aswan from Cairo's Ramses Railway Station.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this initiative is a part of the state's efforts to enhance youth awareness about Egypt's rich history and civilization. The "Youth Train" aims to provide young people with the opportunity to explore significant historical sites and learn about the country's cultural heritage firsthand.

The convoy, which includes 500 young participants, will visit various landmarks in Luxor and Aswan, offering them an immersive educational experience. This initiative is designed to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Egypt's historical contributions to civilization among the youth.
