Cairo: The state adopts a plan to double the number of tourists in the coming period, Spokesman for the Cabinet Mohammed El-Homsany said. Speaking to eXtra News TV channel, he highlighted the state's commitment to removing obstacles for tourists, focusing particularly on simplifying visa-related procedures.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the strategy includes implementing a simplified and automated system for issuing visas quickly at airports. This initiative aims to facilitate a smoother entry process for tourists, enhancing their overall experience from the moment they arrive.

Further efforts by the Civil Aviation Ministry involve upgrading services at airports and establishing partnerships with the private sector to manage airport operations. These measures are expected to significantly contribute to the state's goal of increasing tourist numbers by improving infrastructure and service quality at key entry points.
