Cairo:The Minister of Youth and Sports, Gohar Nabil, has emphasized Egypt's commitment to supporting its champions in sports and improving the sports environment to enhance the country's international reputation.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this statement was made during a meeting at the Maadi Olympic Center with Alex Gough, CEO of the Professional Squash Association, and Amna Eltarabolsy, President of the Egyptian Squash Federation. The discussions focused on boosting cooperation, increasing investment in Egyptian squash, and attracting sponsors, building on Egypt's extensive experience in the sport.

Alex Gough praised Egypt's sports infrastructure and its leadership position in squash. Gohar Nabil is also expected to attend the finals of the CIB Egyptian Open Squash Championship at the Giza Pyramids plateau.
