Cairo: Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy recently convened with Shaimaa Tayseer, CEO of Futura, a regional company specializing in early childhood education and care, along with Safa Afifi, a partner at the company. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for collaboration in the domain of nurseries and early education.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity Margaret Sarofim was also present at the meeting. Discussions centered on leveraging private-sector expertise to enhance the early childhood services system, thereby improving service quality and expanding access to quality nursery services in line with existing standards and regulations.

The meeting delved into specific areas of potential cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Futura. The focus was on enhancing the quality of education and care services in nurseries, as well as exchanging specialized expertise and best practices in early childhood development.

Both parties underscored the importance of sustained cooperation and coordination in the future to explore mechanisms for collaboration. The goal is to translate discussions into tangible actions that support the development of early childhood services, ultimately broadening the availability of quality educational and care services.
