Cairo: Social Solidarity Minister Maya Morsy thanked Prosecutor General Mohamed Shawky for the Public Prosecution's recent inspection visits to child care institutions nationwide, praising the efforts of the Child, Persons with Disabilities, and Elderly Protection Office under the Judicial Inspection Department.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Public Prosecution recently carried out inspection visits to 230 child care and rehabilitation institutions across the country. Morsy praised the regular inspections aimed at assessing the legal, living, and health conditions of children in care facilities, identifying violations, and taking necessary legal actions to protect their rights as guaranteed by the constitution, national laws, and relevant international conventions.She stated that the Ministry of Social Solidarity had addressed the observations raised by the Public Prosecution and was working to ensure the best interests of children. Morsy also directed Karim Qallawi, deputy head of the S tate Council and legal advisor to the minister, to maintain full coordination and cooperation with the Public Prosecution and its Child Protection Office, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among government institutions and bodies to ensure a decent life for citizens.
