Cairo: Coinciding with the world's celebration of the International Day for Tolerance, the State Information Service (SIS) launched the 'Egypt for all its children' campaign, which aims to promote tolerance and mutual acceptance in Egyptian society. The campaign seeks to link the values of tolerance to the concept of citizenship and the principles of human rights as well.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the campaign was launched per the directives of Diaa Rashwan, the Chairman of SIS, and is currently being executed by SIS's Internal Media Sector, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit at SIS. The campaign held events at SIS media complexes in Cairo, Munofiya, Alexandria, and Gharbia.
