Amman: The State Information Service (SIS) is continuing a nationwide public awareness campaign through its Information Centers across the country, in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's vision of strengthening national awareness and investing in human development. SIS Board Chairman Ambassador Alaa Youssef announced that the SIS's activities over the past week reflected a broad awareness agenda addressing issues that directly affect citizens' daily lives, including national security, family development, digital literacy, healthcare, energy, agriculture, and national identity.
According to State Information Service Egypt, as part of its national security outreach, SIS organized seminars across several governorates on topics including combating extremist ideology, countering misinformation, the impact of fourth- and fifth-generation warfare, and the regional security challenges facing Egypt. Family development also remained a key focus under the agency's population and family planning initiative, "Together for a Stable Family and a Prosperous Society," which supports Egypt's National Population and Development Strategy.
Awareness activities covered topics such as family planning from both health and religious perspectives, the proposed Family Law, correcting misconceptions about large families, child marriage, family dialogue, and parental responsibility. The SIS also expanded efforts to promote digital literacy and cybersecurity through seminars addressing digital disinformation, cyber extortion, digital awareness in the age of artificial intelligence, online child protection, and safe digital practices.
Youssef stated that SIS continued to support the country's sustainable development agenda through awareness programs on energy conservation, modern agriculture, literacy eradication, child healthcare, and access to medicine. The SIS also organized educational activities aimed at strengthening national identity among young people, including school visits to archaeological sites and seminars promoting awareness of Egypt's history and cultural heritage.
