According to State Information Service Egypt, the celebrations began at the Cairo Media Complex, inaugurated by Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the SIS. The event was attended by notable figures including Cairo Deputy Governor for the Eastern District Engineer Mona El-Batrawy and Major General Mahmoud Khalifa, Military Adviser to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. The program is designed to educate younger generations about the heroism of the October War and to promote values of sacrifice, belonging, and national awareness.

The SIS aims to raise awareness through its network of domestic media centers, offering dialogue and education on national and strategic issues, especially for young people. Additionally, the program includes media production, with a new edition of the book *The October 6, 1973 War Through the Eyes of Foreign Writers*, which offers insights into the strategic, military, and political challenges of that period.

The SIS has also made available a comprehensive dossier on the October anniversary in foreign languages on its website, providing materials and information to international audiences. Ambassador Youssef related these celebrations to ongoing development efforts in Sinai, viewing the liberation of land as the beginning of development and construction.

The nationwide program includes seminars, public meetings, awareness-raising activities, and artistic performances to celebrate the heroism and lessons of October, while highlighting Egypt's continuous development journey.
