Tunis:SanDisk has announced its partnership with Meta to become the exclusive provider of flash storage solutions for the upcoming Meta VR Glasses, which are set to launch in spring 2027.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the collaboration will bring new products into the Made for Meta accessories ecosystem. These products include microSD Express memory cards and USB-C flash drives, both of which have been tested and certified for use with Meta VR Glasses.

The new storage solutions will provide users with additional capacity, enabling the expansion of their libraries of games, applications, and VR content. This is aimed at enhancing the immersive experience offered by the VR glasses.

Susan Park, Vice President of Product Management for Consumer Products at SanDisk, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the seamless integration of SanDisk's high-performance microSD Express memory cards with the new Meta VR Glasses. These cards are designed to offer immediate access to additional storage, allowing users to enjoy premium media and entertainment content fully.

SanDisk's products undergo rigorous testing to meet Meta's quality standards, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance. The storage solutions are crafted to give users more options to capture, save, and enjoy VR content.

These products will be available in all markets where Meta VR Glasses are sold, providing high-performance storage options upon the launch of the next-generation glasses in spring 2027.
