S. Sinai Governor Emphasizes Development Plans for Dahab City

South sinai: South Sinai Governor Khaled Mubarak affirmed that the state attaches great importance to the city of Dahab and is working to develop it. This came during an inspection tour by the governor and the Local Administration Committee of the House of Representatives, headed by MP Ahmed el Sigini, along with several committee members and local MPs, in the city of Dahab Saturday.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the tour aimed to monitor the tourism movement and different services offered there and review the progress of developmental projects in the city. The tour was conducted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to ensure field follow-up across all governorates-especially in tourist cities-to verify the quality of services provided to citizens and tourists, while supporting the competitiveness of Egyptian tourist destinations and boosting the national economy.

In a statement, the governorate said that the tour included inspecting ongoing development works at the tourist promenade and ensuring the efficiency of utilities and services provided to visitors, in a way that aligns with Dahab's unique environmental and tourism aspects. During the tour, the governor and the committee chairman met with several citizens, shop owners, and operators of tourist bazaars, listening to their demands and suggestions on improving the work environment and enhancing tourism activity, particularly in light of the growing local and international demand for the city.
