Cairo: Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu lauded Egypt's role in the current crisis in Gaza especially releasing the hostages that included two Romanian women, in addition to offering humanitarian aid supplies and paving the roads for receiving international aid supplies to the enclave. Egyptian Ambassador in Bucharest Moayed al Delei met with Hurezeanu on Saturday 15/2/2025.According to State Information Service Egypt, Hurezeanu reviewed his country's stance towards the developments in the Middle East, asserting Romania's firm stance towards the Palestinian cause and support for the two-state solution.For his part, Delei asserted Egypt's keenness on boosting bilateral ties in the different domains and opening new horizons of cooperation. Delei reviewed the latest developments in the region topped by the developments of the Palestinian cause, asserting Egypt's firm stance rejecting any measures that aim at displacing the Palestinians.
