Rafah: Rafah border crossing received a new group of Palestinians returning to the Gaza Strip on Sunday, March 29, 2026, with authorities completing procedures ahead of their onward movement into the enclave.

According to State Information Service Egypt, sources at the crossing said teams from the Egyptian Red Crescent received the returnees, facilitating procedures in coordination with relevant authorities, distributing return kits and providing psychological support, particularly for children.

Egyptian authorities are preparing to receive a new batch of wounded and sick Palestinians from Gaza for treatment in Egyptian hospitals. The Health Ministry has set up a medical point at the crossing to examine arrivals, assess cases, and transfer patients to hospitals using fully equipped ambulances.
