Cairo: The political leadership is prioritizing the protection of children and youths from risks associated with digital platforms and electronic games that could threaten their safety, according to Cabinet spokesman Mohamed el-Homsani.According to State Information Service Egypt, during a phone-in with Extra News channel, the spokesman highlighted that the government is acting on directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to rapidly draft legislation aimed at safeguarding young people. This initiative seeks to address the risks present in the digital environment, ensuring that societal values are upheld and a secure digital space is maintained.Mohamed el-Homsani further stated that Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, in a meeting held on Tuesday, assessed several key issues, including the actions taken by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to counteract the dangers linked to digital platforms and electronic games, with the object ive of shielding young individuals from these escalating global threats.
