Cairo: The cabinet's media center released infographics this week detailing Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly's extensive engagements, as highlighted on social media. His agenda was packed with strategic meetings, inaugurations, and initiatives that signify a progressive week for the nation.
According to State Information Service Egypt, one of the prime minister's significant activities was his participation in the 123rd-anniversary celebration of Egypt's ambulance service. During the event, he inaugurated the country's first maritime ambulance service, marking a historic enhancement to the emergency medical services. This event coincided with the signing of Egypt's largest deal for ambulance vehicles, acquiring 1,000 units in a single batch.
In addition, Dr. Madbouly conducted an inspection tour to evaluate the progress of housing and utilities projects in 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed, and New October cities. He distributed housing contracts under the "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative, reflecting the government's commitment to providing affordable housing.
The prime minister was a key participant in the opening session of the 2025 US-Egypt Policy Leaders Forum. He noted the presence of over 1,800 American companies in Egypt, with their investments surpassing $47 billion over the past two decades. Further strengthening international ties, he met with ExxonMobil's Vice President to streamline the exploration processes in the Mediterranean's "Cairo" and "Masry" gas concession areas.
In a separate meeting with the Awqaf minister, Dr. Madbouly emphasized the need for a digitized inventory of the Awqaf Authority's properties. Additionally, the discussions included updates on several initiatives, such as 'Return of the Kuttab,' the 'Electronic Endowments Platform,' and 'Correct Your Concepts.'
The prime minister also reviewed the country's subsidy system, focusing on governance improvements. He discussed the issuance of a unified card for subsidy recipients, with 42,000 beneficiaries already covered in Port Said.
In economic developments, Dr. Madbouly met with the head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone to discuss recent projects. Highlights included a $17 million investment by China's Hightex Company and a $60 million investment by China's Kinlead Innovative Materials Company. Furthermore, four commercial contracts were signed for exporting ductile pipes to major international projects across several Arab nations, amounting to $47 million.
Dr. Madbouly also engaged with a Samsung delegation led by the CFO of the Middle East regional headquarters. The meeting spotlighted Samsung's Beni Suef factory, the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, boasting an annual production capacity of 6 million units and $700 million in investments.
He celebrated the 120th anniversary of the Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development, inaugurating renovations at the Granada Palace. A partnership was also signed between the Holding Company for Pharmaceuticals and Dawah Pharma to manufacture and export pharmaceuticals globally, aiming to penetrate the US market for the first time.

The week culminated with the inauguration of the new Consumer Protection Agency headquarters in New Cairo and an inspection tour of ongoing projects in Capital Gardens City.
