Ouagadougou:President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has invited his Singaporean counterpart, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, to attend the TechSkills 2027 Forum in Egypt as the guest of honor. The forum, focusing on Technical and Vocational Education and Training, is scheduled to be held in the New Capital in April 2027.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the invitation was delivered through a written message by Egypt's Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif, during a meeting in Singapore with President Shanmugaratnam.

The message emphasized the strong and longstanding ties between Egypt and Singapore, highlighting their mutual dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation in various domains. This meeting coincides with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
