Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued on Thursday, May 14, 2026, Presidential Decree No. 205 of 2026 extending the term of Counselor Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Wahab Ibrahim, Deputy Head of the State Council, as supervisor of the General Secretariat of the Specialized Councils for a third consecutive year, effective from May 2, 2026.

According to State Information Service Egypt, under the decree, Abdel Wahab will continue to hold the powers of the competent minister concerning the financial and administrative affairs of the secretariat. This includes overseeing its employees and the staff of the subsidiary secretariats of the councils.

The decree has been officially published in the Official Gazette, confirming the extension of Abdel Wahab's responsibilities and role.
