Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Wednesday 23/4/2025 with President Ismail Omar Guelleh at the Presidential Palace in Djibouti. An official reception ceremony was held for President El-Sisi, marking the beginning of the visit.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, announced that the meeting commenced with a bilateral session of talks. This was followed by an expanded meeting that included delegations from both countries. In honor of President El-Sisi, a luncheon was hosted by the Djiboutian President.

During the visit, the two Presidents oversaw the signing of several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, which aim to strengthen the cooperation between their nations. The event concluded with a joint press conference where President El-Sisi delivered a speech.
