Cairo: Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke by phone with the Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The conversation underscored Egypt's support for the stability and sovereignty of the Sultanate of Oman and all Gulf states amid current circumstances.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that President El-Sisi expressed Egypt's condemnation and rejection of Iranian aggression against Arab states. Sultan Haitham bin Tariq conveyed his appreciation for Egypt's support towards the stability and sovereignty of the Gulf region.

The dialogue included a review of Egypt's efforts in regional and international arenas to de-escalate tensions and bring an early end to ongoing conflicts. President El-Sisi acknowledged and supported the mediation efforts by Oman between the United States and Iran.

President El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's commitment to political and diplomatic solutions for regional crises. Both leaders agreed to continue consultations and coordination to bolster efforts for de-escalation and regional stability restoration.

The President highlighted the shared destiny and unified national security between Egypt and the Gulf states. He stressed the importance of enhancing joint action to address regional challenges and developments, advocating for collective Arab national security to safeguard the Arab states' security, stability, and sovereignty.
