According to African Press Organization, the reception was followed by extended talks attended by delegations from both nations. The discussions included the signing of an agreement and several memoranda of understanding, after which a luncheon was hosted by President El-Sisi and the First Lady for President Xi, his spouse, and the accompanying delegation. In his opening remarks, President El-Sisi addressed the gathering.

President Xi Jinping expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted China's appreciation for its cooperative relationship with Egypt. He affirmed China's commitment to the 2014 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and expressed interest in expanding the partnership and encouraging increased Chinese investment in Egypt.

The discussions covered technical cooperation in infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, and agriculture. The leaders also addressed regional and international issues, emphasizing diplomatic solutions for crisis resolutions and supporting efforts for a comprehensive agreement to end regional conflicts.

President El-Sisi stressed the importance of de-escalation and the protection of sovereignty and security in the Middle East. He also highlighted Egypt's role in the Palestinian cause, advocating for humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza and a just settlement based on international legitimacy.

President Xi acknowledged Egypt's efforts in fostering regional peace and expressed China's readiness to enhance cooperation in international forums and regional issues. The visit concluded with the signing of significant documents to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and China.
