Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with key military leaders, including Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Major General Walid Aref, and Assistant Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for Engineering Projects Major General Ahmed Fouda, at the Strategic Command headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting focused on reviewing the status of projects currently being carried out by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. These projects are being executed in collaboration with various ministries, state agencies, and authorities across multiple service and development sectors. The discussions aimed at monitoring the execution timelines and completion schedules to ensure timely delivery.
President El-Sisi also assessed the implementation status of cooperation protocols that have been signed between the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and several ministries, governmental bodies, and agencies. These protocols are geared towards executing a range of service and development projects in numerous essential sectors.
The President underlined the importance of expediting the completion of these projects to enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens. He emphasized the need for concerted efforts to finalize the executive phases of these projects, which are crucial for achieving targeted goals and supporting sustainable development throughout Egypt.
