President El-Sisi Confers Collar of the Nile upon President Trump

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has decided on Monday, October 13, 2025, to award the Nile Collar to President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, in recognition of his distinguished contributions to supporting peace efforts, defusing conflicts, and most recently, his pivotal role in ending the war in Gaza.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the decision to honor President Trump with one of Egypt's highest awards was made to acknowledge his efforts in fostering peace and stability in the Middle East. The Nile Collar is traditionally awarded to heads of state and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Egypt or humanity.

President Trump's involvement in the recent diplomatic efforts to cease hostilities in Gaza was highlighted as a significant factor in the decision. His actions were seen as instrumental in bringing about a ceasefire and facilitating dialogue between conflicting parties. The award ceremony is expected to strengthen ties between Egypt and the United States, highlighting a mutual commitment to peace and cooperation.
