President El-Sisi Back Home After His Visit to Djibouti

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi returned home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, after a brief visit to Djibouti that witnessed the signing of many agreements and memos of understanding. During the visit, Sisi and his Djiboutian counterpart reiterated their rejection of threats to the safety and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, underlining the need to adhere to regional security principles.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors. The agreements signed are expected to strengthen economic ties and foster collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, and maritime security.
