Pope Tawadros II Inquires After Health of Al Azhar Grand Imam Over Phone Call

Cairo: Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, had a phone call to the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, to inquire after his health following his recent illness. Pope Tawadros II expressed his wishes for the Grand Imam's full and speedy recovery. For his part, the Grand Imam expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Holiness for his concern and concern for his well-being.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Pope Tawadros II took it upon himself to personally reach out to Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, who has been experiencing health issues recently.
