Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted that completing the projects to revive Historic Cairo represents a new cornerstone in building the New Republic.

According to State Information Service Egypt, PM Madbouli emphasized that this effort is guided by a clear vision based on two pillars: achieving modernity that keeps pace with global development across all fields, and preserving the heritage and civilizational landmarks left by Egyptians throughout history.

Madbouli's remarks came at the start of his inspection tour on Saturday 29/11/2025, during which he reviewed the progress of several projects aimed at reviving various districts within Historic Cairo. The tour falls within his ongoing follow-up of these major urban regeneration initiatives.

Madbouli was accompanied by Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber and several senior officials from the Urban Development Fund. Madbouly noted that today's visit, which includes restoration, residential, administrative, commercial, and hotel development sites, is his second inspection tour in less than a month.
