PM Mostafa Madbouli Joins Board of Peace Meeting in Washington

Washington: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli left for Washington to participate in the first meeting of the "Board of Peace" on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. This marks a significant diplomatic engagement aimed at addressing regional and global conflicts, focusing mainly on the Palestinian issue.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Board of Peace was established by US President Donald Trump as an international platform to seek sustainable solutions for conflicts worldwide. Egypt's participation in this initiative follows an invitation from the US Administration, recognizing Egypt's critical role in promoting regional stability and comprehensive peace.

Prime Minister Madbouli is accompanied by Badr Abdelatty, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates. The Egyptian delegation's presence underscores the country's support for President Trump's initiatives, including his opposition to the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and his stance against the annexation of the West Bank, as highlighted in his "20-Point Plan."

During the visit, Prime Minister Madbouli is expected to deliver Egypt's official address to the Board of Peace, presenting Cairo's perspective on the issues currently on the Board's agenda. This engagement reflects Egypt's commitment to contributing to international peace efforts and finding resolutions to persistent conflicts.
