Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, received Bahrain's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at Cairo International Airport. Upon his arrival in Egypt, an official reception ceremony was held for Prince Salman and his accompanying delegation, with the national anthems of Egypt and Bahrain being played.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the reception ceremony was attended by Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal. The Egyptian prime minister and the Bahraini crown prince are scheduled to co-chair an expanded session of talks on Wednesday. These discussions aim to address a number of issues of mutual interest and explore ways to foster bilateral cooperation in various fields.
