PM Madbouly Conducts Extensive Inspection Tour in Beheira Governorate

Beheira: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly embarked on a comprehensive inspection tour in Beheira governorate to assess the progress of various service and development projects. Accompanied by key ministers and officials, Madbouly emphasized the importance of such visits to enhance infrastructure and support economic and social development.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister's tour included a visit to the Rashid National Museum, where restoration efforts are underway to preserve Egypt's historical sites and boost tourism. The museum, housed in the 18th-century Arab Killy House, showcases Rashid's rich history, including its resistance to the Fraser Campaign in 1807.The Prime Minister also inspected development works in Rashid's historic center, focusing on infrastructure upgrades and restoration of heritage buildings. The redevelopment aims to position Rashid as a cultural and tourist destination, with improvements to streets and visitor services.Madbouly witnessed the signin g of a memorandum of understanding for a heritage documentation project in Rashid. The initiative involves cooperation among Beheira Governorate, Alexandria University, and other institutions to preserve Rashid's cultural and architectural heritage.During his visit to Rashid Central Hospital, Madbouly reviewed medical services and hospital infrastructure. Deputy Minister of Health Amr Qandil highlighted the hospital's capacity and recent enhancements, including new medical services and ongoing development projects.The Prime Minister also inspected the EGP 600 million Rosetta Port development project. This strategic initiative aims to modernize port facilities, create jobs, and attract investment, with significant contributions expected to maritime industries and local economic growth.
